wow, i'm surprised... - 2006-02-02 at 10:11 p.m.

Today was a very good day. The first one in a super duper long time. I was very content. :)

Highlights of the day:
* It was Laura Ja-honays's birthday today! And birthday's are always fun.
* I got to sing part of the Gospel Mass in choir a capella and it sounded very swanky. I know this is silly, but when little things like this happen, it makes my day.
* Lunch was amazing. :) I love my lunch, I really do. It was Laura's birthday so we ate her cheesecake with our hands and sang "Happy Birthday" to her really loudly. But we got shooshed by people, including Mrs. Denny (she's a moron), and we just gave 'em attitude right back. Then Teh Furher walked by and we all got extrememly quiet so as not to make any noise, due to her being a nazi and us not being allowed to have fun. None of us can keep a straight face though, so as soon as she passes, we bust a gut laughin'. On her way back, we all pretend to pray and as she's right behind my friend Val, Val says "Amen" and we all repeated her. *giggles* We're such nerds.
* No Steel Magnolias rehearsal, so that's always nice.
* Went to Applebee's to celebrate Laura's birthday some more. Had a blast there. We saw Dr. K and her family there and stopped by to say hi. We told her we were there for Laura's birthday, and what do you know, our waitress comes over and says "There's a woman over there, says she's your English teacher and she gave me $20 to pay for some of your meal and to make sure you (Laura) get a dessert." Yep, she paid for 2/3 of 7 people's meals. I <3 her to death. Laura and I made her thank you cards.

Now I have to finish reading the section of The Count of Monte Cristo that's due tomorrow and get ready for dance.
